HYPOTHESIS implies insufficient evidence to provide more than a tentative explanation.
THEORY implies a greater range of evidence and greater likelihood of truth.
I have no evidence and the likelyhood of you being an actual sheep is slim to none: but i could be wrong. So that rules out that you think i have a "theory" unless you want to be a sheep, i am perfectly fine with that as long as MGD agrees to herd you.
