and a couple of other sites that agreed with this ones info, but I like teh lay out of that one. HEHE
It says when I'm doing 60 mph, my speedo is reading 57 mph.
At 100 mph I'd be reading 95 mph
at 140 mph, I'd be reading 133 mph
After I've actually went 10K miles, my odometer would read 9503 miles.
Doing the math on the OD, using that data, it appears it is off 0.0497th of a mile every mile. It will be off just like the speedo, so every 100 miles of traveling, I'd be losing 5 miles. So I should be able to multiply what ever my trip OD says by 0.0497 and have an accurate reading of actual miles traveled.
I called my local Dealer Lindsay Ford, today and asked about having it recalibrated.... they told me it cant be done, or they wont do it... they claimed you had to change the speedo pick up gear......

I hate them, I have never been able to deal with them in any way shape or form. The only thing they have ever done for me was they did do the cruise control recall for me with out a fuss.
Anyway, called another dealer, where i actually bought the truck (neiither knew who I was or where I bought it over the phone). They said that they could do it anytime in a matter of a few minutes no problem, cost about $45.
Since it is going to cost that much, I'd rather anti up the extra benjamin and buy a used tuner off ebay. But now I have a formula that should work, so can use that for now unitl i can get the bill collectors off my back and caught back up, then get a tuner.
