next upgrade?

well tomorrow i am installing a levelling kit and i am already thinking what i am going to do next. this aftermarket upgrade thing is addicting.

since i am putting on bigger tires, i was thinking of putting on an edge programmer.

any opinions pro or con would be appreciated.

well all i can tell you is i had the max energy, and while its not a bad tuner, its nothing in comparison to the edge, and the $70 more it's well worth it. I've only had mine on 4 days but I can tell you it's smoother acceleration, better throttle response, and the difference is all the way through the acceleration, unlike with the Max Energy, you really only noticed the difference when u were mashing the pedal 75% or more, Edge you feel it much sooner. You have 3 levels to choose, trans only, towing, performance and you can go with the canned tune or choose custom settings for a lot of the parameters. The display features on the Edge are nice and you can record your performance results and actually log them and even graph them for comparison if you want to try different settings. If you just want firmer shifts you can choose the trans only level, or if you tow you can go with that, or level 3 is listed as "extreme" which is what i have mine set on for n ow...i like it with the exception of it did downshift to go up a hill yesterday and it jerked pretty hard so I may back down the firmness a little. All in all the Edge is a great tuner so don't waste your money on any cheaper ones, either Edge or a lot of guys also recommend the XCal2 which you can go with canned tune or Troyers Performance can customize for you for a small additional fee.
