EDGE Question Changing Tire Size

I installed a "new" Edge Evo today. First time through I got some sort of chksum error. I tried it again and it seemed to work.
However, when I loaded level 2 with a custome tire size (around 2650) my truck ran terrible. It felt like the tranny was slipping and pulsated really bad when accelerating. Went back to stock and it ran fine. Put in level2 with no custom settings and it ran fine. Put in the tire size again and it ran terrible. I am thinking there is someting wrong with the edge. I purchased on EBAY for the normal 449.10 but when I received it appears to have been a return.
Thoughts Anyone? Thanks!

BTW 05 SC 5.6 3V

I haven't heard of that happening to anyone. Can you return it?

I had a very similar problem today. Edge sent me a new tuner to replace my old busted one. I reloaded the stock tune, everything worked fine. Loaded the default level 2 setting, again, everything worked fine. Tried to reload a custom level 2 tune changing only the tire size to 2600mm, but the truck wouldn't start. Retuned to default level 2, everything was fine. Tried custom level 2 with tire size change, again, wouldn't start. WTF? I gave up. Gonna call Edge tech support tomorrow.

I haven't had that happen with adjusting tire size but if I try anything else custom it does what you mentioned. I've tried adjust the timing and WOT fuel before and the truck barely ran.

Same problem here. Canned Level 2 is fine, but when I try to adjust a standard shift point, the tranny stutters all over the place.

I've been in contact with Edge and have been waiting about 5 weeks now for a fix. I've emailed files to their engineers and I was told Monday that they would have a fix for me this week. I'll let you know what happens.

Have you changed the PCM returned value gear ratio from the stock or edge setting?

So what happened? Did they fix it er not?
I talked to them day before yesterday and the dude said he had'nt heard of this problem before (lying of caurse).

If mine isnt fixed by this comming Thursday I am sending mine back to them and going with something else. Almost at the point where they can just jump off the "Edge" for all I care.

Had I not got in touch with the original engineer I would have sent mine back Yesterday. Im currently waiting on him to figure out what this custom tuning problem is all about.

No. It defaults to 3:73, so I'm good.

No, it's not fixed. I'm still waiting to hear back from Riley at Edge. He eventually responds to my emails, but either his engineering department is stumped or understaffed, because he doesn't have any answers. If this is really just a corrupted file it shouldn't take this long.

I saw your post about Bill Cohorn. Maybe you'll have better luck with the guy that wrote the code, rather than the guys that are trying to figure out what he did. Please keep us posted!
