Any tuners out there using this for the Ford F-series. I am trying to get my hands on the Beta version (more my buddy who does tuning). Let me know, would love to start playing with it.

 

I had a look at the beta.

I don't think anyone is using it for tuning yet, as they are still just asking for file reads for selected Fords so they can work up a database.

They state there is NO tuning support yet and won't be until the public beta is completed.

I hope they (and you) realize the learning curve for this - unlike any other platform, the Ford trucks have many, many strategy revisions each model year. SCT's strategy DB is over 50 mb and growing for Ford trucks.

SCT appears years ahead of HP in this regard. Full support, full PCM access & control and mature tools.

 

Thanks for the info. I am not a tuner, but my buddy has been tuning many years and is good at what he does. If HP doesn't plan on coming out soon, then I will most likely go with the SCT or Edge (since everyone and there brother seems to have one) for the added performance.

Has anyone checked out Sniper Tuning at all? A buddy of mine had the SCT for his HD, but said it was a POS and couldn't get it to work. Looked at HPT, and you know that story. Now has the Commando Suite and is pretty happy with it.
