Check Engine Lights Still Coming On
Check Engine Lights Still Coming On
I have my 3.5" AF1 with the Troyer Tunes installed, and my check engine light is coming on and when i scan for codes, comes up saying that bank 1 and 2 are to lean. I thought that the tunes were supposed to correct this so that the light wouldnt get tripped with the AF1 on? Any suggestions?I double checked and there are no loose connection o nthe intake or anything, but maybe tomorrow I will check and see if maybe I may have unhooked someting elsewhere and not realized it
thanks
eric
I had a similiar issue but codes reading the truck was runing rich. I end up lifting my hood and found AF 3.5 filter fell off at the tube ooppsss. Put the filter back on and reset the computer with the xcal2. and no light.
We had a chance to speak with this gentleman by phone, very nice fellow by the way.
We talked for a while, let him know that nobody else is having this issue as our tune compensates for the 3.5" AF1, we've had it on the dyno hundreds of times & the correciton is pretty straightforward for a skilled tuner. At that time, he had already scheduled to replace his upstream O2 sensors (they were due anyway, and he was already on top of that, which was very nice to see!) and then see what happened.
Iif he still had the problem after that, he is going to get back with us and we'd get the truck datalogged and see just what's up - and if any tuning changes are actually needed, then of course we'll take care of it!
