Thanks

Yep, two things.

1. Get yourself a tuner (I have an Edge) and it has a program for towing, works great.

2. Ease up on the lead foot. After getting my tuner, it shows me what kind of mileage i'm getting about every mile or so, and THAT has helped me ease up a bit on how I drive.

A couple of questions. Where is a good place to find one on the web? Also, what is a good price for one? And lastly, are there diffrent modles. If so which one do you suggest for a first time user?

Thanks

You just have to search the web a little bit. They have really increased in price and they won't get any cheaper. I found mine at autoanything.com and noticed realtruck.com also had it for about the same price ($449).

There is only one model Edge for your truck. You buy the one that matches you model and engine. It comes with 3 tunes you can put the truck on. If I remember 1 is basic transmission changes, 2 is towing with 87 octane or better and 3 is a performance tune (that will really make your truck haul rear). Then of course you have the factory tune, which is what its on now. Once you understand the different things you can change (which i haven't yet), then you can make your own tune that best suits your needs. I just use 1, 2, or 3 depending upon the situation.

If your gonna get one I would recommend getting it there. When I got mine they sent it next day air for FREE. I ordered it at like 5pm central time and got it the next day at like 1pm I love my Edge Evo...wouldnt drive my truck w/out it.
