Superchips 1714 first impressions

Today, I installed my SC 1714 in my 04 F-150 FX4 SC. The installation took all of 10 minutes with the step by step instructions on the screen. I know its not as good as the Edge or Xcal2 but it is definitley an improvement over stock! For me or for people in the same financial situation(in college, on a fairly tight budget) the sc1714 provides a nice compromise between price and performance. I picked mine up for $100. I cant speak on fuel mileage yet, but with the 87 octane tune, there was definitley an increase in power and that annoying lag from the drive-by-wire is significantly reduced. So far, I am thrilled with this purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a tuner but who is not ready to shell out the $400 plus on the higher end tuners.

Yup.. I found it on E-bay. I think it was actually $110 with shipping. Came in the original box with the manual and even the window sticker. The thing looks like brand new.
