Xcal II or LiveWire?

Was browsing the TP site and saw this about the LiveWire:

Average Power Gains Using Livewire
Pre-Loaded Tune Files:
Vehicle:
'99-'03 7.3L Diesel RWHP 110 RWTQ 200
'03-'07 6.0L Diesel RWHP 120 RWTQ 240
'99-'04 Lightning/Harley RWHP 25 TQ 38
'04-'07 4.2L F-Series RWHP 14 RWTQ 20
'04-'07 4.6L F-Series RWHP 11 RWTQ 8
'04-'07 5.4L F-Series RWHP 22 RWTQ 20
'04-'07 6.8L F-Series RWHP 31 RWTQ 31

I have an '05 4.6L, so I'm assuming that the figures listed as pre-loaded apply only to the "canned" tunes that are installed on the LiveWire and are not indicative of what Troyer's custom tuning will do with this device?
I've been leaning a bit towards the LiveWire because of the gauges. On the other hand, I sure won't spend $600 for a pretty (tho informative) display and only 11 RWHP and 8 ft lbs of tq.
The custom tunes better those numbers, yes?

Yup.

Be aware that LW still has some product maturity issues (see SCT's forums for more info).

I'm sure this will be addressed over time, just like the Xcal2's early product growing pains, but as long as you know this up-front, and are willing to put up with these 'version 1.0' foibles in the short term - and a *ahem* dearth of mounting options lol - it's a compelling option.

Same custom tunes as those that are loaded via an Xcal2. Perhaps some of the other members who have one (hey RP, 04 RED LARIAT!), will chime in with their views (or you can search for 'em lol!).

Cheers
Bubba
