Is there an alternate method to find the Computer Code OTHER than the Sticker in the Passenger Side Door Frame? Mine isn't there. My truck was repainted prior to me purchasing it in 99'. Its a 97' 4.6 if that helps.

Passenger side footwell, up under the dash on the inside of the firewall is where the PCM is located on yours. Get down there with a bright light. Should be on a sticker. Three letters & a number ( e.g, NSI2).
