Was wondering what size tires you have. Also i have not updated my edge since i got it 2 years ago have there been any updates latley?. Now i'm looking at playing with the settings but had a few questions, would your settings work on level 2 with 35's and what kind of timing should I enter for an elavation of about 1375.
Sorry for the late response havnt read this thread in awhile.

I have 325/60/18 tires.
Yes there has been an update since 2 years ago!
Some people say if it aint broke dont try and flash it. However if its been 2 years I myself might would do it.
As far as my setting for lvl2 im not sure. Honestly I think you would be fine. but may need to bump up the octane if you bump your timing +1. You probably dont even need it. If your wanting performance you need to go to lvl3.

If your just worried about pulling boats, trailers ect. Stay with lvl2. "IF" your wanting to tweak the settings for lvl2 id make a new post asking if anyone has any custom settings for lvl2. Honestly I left my lvl2 stock on my edge.

Let me ask this if youve had your edge for 2 years and always ran lvl2, is it acting up now or just trying to get more out of it??

Use to run level 3 until i got the larger tires, now i think level 2 works better because of the increased torque. I had 33's with level 3 and it was pretty quick but when i switched to 35's it didn't feel near as good as level 2. That is with no tweaking also. I really would like to get 4:56 gears but not at a cost of 2K

F150paratrooper,
i have pretty much the same truck as you and was wondering if yours shifts as hard as mine with stock level 3 settings?
mine shifts very hard and when i tweaked the shift stiffness i had to set them all to zero.
i have ony seen 1 other truck with those settings but no mention of hard shifting.
does that mean that my tranny is tight or going? its got 48K on it.

i had a Superchips 1815 on it and just swapped today and with that tuner i had to set the shift stiffness to stock level. by default they have it set to max on their tuner.

tweak

I haven't done any tweaking yet, I'm actually pretty satisfied with the lvl 2 settings. I have not tried lvl 3 yet either. The transmission shifts are firmer than they were, but I certainly would not say hard. and I have 53K on my truck. I'm taking it on a trip this weekend, looking to see if I get any MPG gains. I'll let you know how it goes.

Just got my Edge today, and ****!! What a different truck! I just love that feeling of getting thrown back in your seat when you gun it. Only driven it for a few miles to test it out and tinker a little. So far, this is what it's at.

Level 2 / 87 Octane
Timing: +1.0
WOT Shift: 1-2=5200 2-3=5200 3-4=4850
Shift Firmness: 1-2= +8 / 2-3=+8 / 3-4=+4
Normal Shift: 1-2= +2 / 2-3= +2 / 3-4= +1
Rev Limit: 5400
WOT Fuel: 1.35
Idle RPM: 110
Gear: 3.73
Tire Size: Stock tires 275/65R18

I'm trying to find the best performance tune right now, although what route would I take to gain the best fuel milage? I take some longer trips once in awhile and am curious what I should do to save some $$$.

You guys usually use the Edge avg. mileage to estimate? Or calculate the mileage yourself after a fillup? I'll see what the Edge says after I get back from work tomorrow. It's about a 65 mile round trip, so I hope it's fairly close after that. I'll keep an eye on the mileage for the next couple of tanks and post back with that as well anyways.
