I just got my xcal2 back from SCT and am trying to load my custom tunes from Mike. When I attempt to load the tune I get an error message that the file serial number is incorrect? Very frustrating...

Well it looks like the .ll3 files are encoded with the device serial number, and my serial number has changed I suppose. I guess SCT sent me a different tuner than the one I originally sent them. Since Troyer Performance is closed until Monday I will spend yet another few days without tunes.

Give TP a call today and leave a message; it just might be a simple fix that can be done by email

 

Yea I emailed them the problem and the new serial number so that they can lock those .ll3 files to the new serial number and email them back to me. Hoping someone may check the email since they are doing the dyno day this weekend. I will try calling this afternoon also in hopes that they might answer..
