supperchips or edge

I have a superchips on my 01 4x4 6"lift 4;56 gears and a catback 3" with flowmaster. Do you guy's think I will get anymore from the Edge? I know it really works well for you 3 valve guy's.

You'll get the gauges and custom setting ability with edge.

Hi bigdad,

As everyone who has ever used either the standard Superchips product or the Edge unit, and then used our Troyer Performance custom tuning has always said, our custom tuning is what delivers by far the best results - we just did that again here this past weekend for our dyno day event, where a couple of guys had been using the Edge device, and then we tuned them and they couldn't believe the difference.

personally, no, I can tell you that the Edge is not going to give you any more power than what the Superchips device does - but if you are going to get into another tuner, then go with what is going to get the best actual results, which is our Troyer Performance custom tuning.

You can read the threads here for posts from guys who have used both and then gone with our Troyer Performance custom tuning, and ever one of them raves about the difference we make - we specialize in these vehicles and have been for 15+ years, where the major chipmakers simply do not have the time to put as much R&D into this one platform that we do - so there's simply no way they can do what we do on these trucks.

I hope that addresses your question, and gives you the basic answers you were looking for........... please feel free to call us if you'd like to go over any of this in more detail, OK?

Good luck!
