No. Must be key on engine off to change tunes.

Sounds good. I will just run the 91 octane then, it is much easier to find. The 93 is very hard to find around me. thanks.

Ya'll REALLY need to read up on tuners. With questions like this, you obviously don't know a lot about tuners. I'm not trying to make fun of you, I just don't want you to break your truck. This thread goes over the basic functions of tuners. Make sure you understand it, before you start using the tuner. https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=273030

Good luck with the edge. You'll like it.

Just read through it, very informative. I was just curious about ethanol and couldn't remember if the Edge needed 91 or 93. I have had a tuner before. I will agree 100% with everything you said. I think the key point is just follow the instructions and you should be ok.

Exactly, follow the instructions, the majority of problems are user error. As far as ethanol is concerned, pay close attention, listen to your engine. You can even get pinging (pre detonation) with the stock program. If you are running a tuner program, you can back off the timing, but if on stock, I would go to the next grade of gasoline.
