xcal 2 help
I just need some help on this. I am filling out my worksheets for the xcal 2 program to fax back to troyer and one of the questions ask for the computer code. I have no idea what or where this is. I have a 99 expedition eddie bauer. Please someone help so i can get these faxed back and enjoy my xcal 2 like everyone else on this message board. Any help greatly appreciated
If you can not locate the computer code on the inside edge of the front passenger side door where it meets the body, then you will have to remove the kick panel on the passengers side under the glovebox.
When you remove the plastic kick panel, look up on the inner body panel and you will see a rectangular metal box with a multi-wire connector attached to the bottom side of it with a single 10mm bolt. This box is your ECM. There will be a sticker on the outside of it with a numerical/alpha code such as EAY4, FFE2, ABC1, etc.. This is your computer code...
You could always have Mike and crew go ahead and ship the XCal2 unit to you and you could then read the computer strategy, send it to them, and then after they write the tunes they will send them to you in an email form and you can load the tuner..
