Edge Evolution Install

I just bought an Edge Evolution online tonight...and I may be jumping the gun and I don't mean to sound rude (since I have not even gotten it) but how hard is the install? I can do mechanical, but electrical scares me a little bit because I really don't want to mess up my truck. The reason I am asking is because I get home from school (New York Military Academy) next Wed. and I want to install it that night. I was just wondering if there are any tips to install...and or a rating of how hard it is. Thanks for all y'alls help.

On a scale of 1 - 10, 10 being the hardest, I'd give it a 1 for ease of install. Just plug and play.

Can you plug in a cord into a wall outlet? That's about how hard it is to install, you just plug the unit into the OBD II port under the dash and follow the on screen prompts.

Hey, Copenhagen your truck looks like my old one, I had an 05' FX4 scab in red/dsg that I traded for my 07'

Just reads the manual first. There is a certain sequence to do the hookup, but once learned, it's just like riding a bike.

well considering that my last bike is sitting in a heap next to my truck outside maybe not the best analogy lol. Just kiddin' but anyway thanks guys sounds easy enough lol. What about the 'custom holder' how does that install?

The pod can be painted to match your interior. It comes black. It is held in place with velcro or 2 sided tape. It is just as easy to install as the Edge itself. Total install time should take about 10 Min.... this includes taking it out of the box.
