http://www.edgeproducts.com/product.php?pk=54&pvk=161

is this the best out right now? what is the real advantage of it? i just want to get maybe some more hp and better mpg, dont want to have to work with it alot, just set it and go. so is it very user friendly? and how does it look in your vehicle, is it clean looking and will it flow with a black screw?

thanks

Yes, it is the best bang for your buck. Discount Power Parts has the best deal out there. Their shipping is VERY quick.

It WILL increase your HP and MPG. I prob gained about anywhere from 20 to 50 gallons a tank with this.
It's very user friendly. Plug and play. read the manual before installing to better understand it.
It looks good with the dash pod.

I have the Edge and love it. It looks as if you have not read much of the discussin on here. Do a search and you will find a ton of info about the Edge and about the Xcal2. Both are great, just different in nature. From your post, it sounds as if the Edge is what you are looking for.

The "best" is an X-Cal2 with Troyer Custom tuning. It depends on what you want so look at both and decide.

Hi bw1128,

Actually, we carry both of those products, and will price-match anyone on those Edge units, just as we always have.

Now that being said, most people looking for tuning want the best actual performance results, rather than pretty gauges and "canned" tuning. To each their own, of course, you do whatever makes you happy.

The best performance results will be had with our Troyer Performance *custom* tuning, because we have specialized in the performance tuning & modification of these computer-controlled F-150's longer than anyone else, 15 years now. We load our custom tuning into the XCalibrator 2 - and we have many people who previously had the Edge unit, and switched over to our tuning - some of them run our tuning but plug the Edge in to see it's gauges. It's all in whatever makes you happy, of course.

The XCalibrator has very advanced diagnostics, it's completely plug-n-play, has a high-speed datalogger built right into it, etc., and that is how you get the best tuning, and thus the best actual performance, the best driveability, etc.

This is just some brief info of course, so I hope this helps a bit, & please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below for all the details on both units, so you can make your decision from a properly informed position, OK?

Thanks for your post, & best of luck whatever you decide!
