i just got my edge in... just wondering what would be the best for an every day driver, not towing anything. of course when it came i threw it in and put it to lvl 3, just don't know if that's what i should use for every day driving.i want to feel the diff but i guess i would like to conserve gas the best i can.

I used level 3 for everyday for several months. Then I tried a cumtomized level 2. Level 2 is a lot better for everyday mixed driving for me as you have a lot more low end "get up and go". More low end torque. If you do a lot of highway, level 3 would be better as you have more top end. At least that is how it has worked for me.

 

I leave mine on level 3. 87 octane, and use the truck hard every day. It doesn't have as much power as it does with 93 octane, but oh well...

 

I don't think it's a good idea to run 87 on level 3. Level 3 has the timing set for higher octane fuel to avoid detonation. I hope your engine doesn't go "BOOM".
