Sanding and Painting the EDGE Pod
Awesome man thanks for the input, I just started sanding mine tonight. So tomorrow when Im done sanding, priming, and painting I will post some new pics. Hey I noticed you have feet on your sub box. I have a box just like yours, and I bought some feet for it tonight. Did you use a seat lift? Also did your box come that color or did you add that yourself?
You don't need to sand it to make the paint stick. Get a good can of plastic primer from an auto paint store, and clean it(the pod not the primer can
) real good with laquer thinner then paint away. If you follow these instructions from a body guy in the business for 25 years(not me, friend, body work
) your painted edge pod will last longer than your dash, providing proper care.
