Can the Xcal2 measure coolant temp?

I'm trying to calibrate my efans and I thought I could use my xcal2 to read the temps, but I can't figure out how to do it. Do I need a laptop and the datalogging software to get the data or does it just not read that? If it doesn't, how can I get my hands on a scan tool or something that can read the coolant temps?
