I'm looking at buying a used edge programmer. Anything I need to watch out for?

You can move it to a new truck as long as the tune is unloaded from the original truck, right?

If I plug it into my truck when buying it, will it "let me know" if it's not going to work?

I bought mine used and it's been working great, got it 5 months ago. I just did my first update a few days ago. The level 3 shudder is almost all gone with the new update.
