Question Superchip reprogrammer? good for my 03 f150

will a superchip reprogrammer be good for my 2003 f150 Kings ranch SC 4x4? I have a K&N cold air intake, and dual exhaust w/ no muffler . i just recently put BFG's All T's on. they register 33 x 11.50's, i fit them w/o putting a lift on, but my spedometer is like 5 mph's off. but if its only goin to correct that and wont give me any performance than ill skip on that. so any feedback would be good.

Hi f150krsc03,

What will give you the best results is to have us do our Troyer Performance custom tuning that you read on here about so much - we will not only get larger power & performance gains, but we can also correct the leaning out of the Air/Fuel ratio caused by your aftermarket intake system once you datalog it, as well as correct the speedometer, odometer & shift points for any changes you make to tire size and/or gear ratio.

To go over all the various details on this, just give us a quick call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to answer any of your questions.

In short, yes, the of-the-shelf Superchips unit will do what you want, but to get the best performance results and to be able to get the custom tuning you will need to correct the lean condition the intake kit causes, that requires proper custom tuning, so that is what most people here do.

I hope that info helps, & please feel free to give us a call, OK?

Good luck & Merry Christmas!

Hi f150krsc03,

You don't need to have anyone from us there, we do not need to have access to your vehicle to do this.

Again, we can supply either type of device, but the custom tuning will get you the best results, and we cna do that via mail order & email, we've done that for thousand of people here on F-150 Online and all over the world, that is what we specialize in.

Please feel free to give us a call for details on this, we'll be happy to go over this with you, & then whatever choice you make is of course up to you, OK?

Thanks, & I hope you had a great Christmas!
