I got an Xcal2

Ok, I got that used xcal2 that I asked about in previous posts. I talked to Troyer, and he said that a programer can be used with 4 different pcm codes, that can be changed with software, liveload I think it was called. Can I change the pcm code and still use the tunes that the previous owner bought for it?

What can I do without changing the pcm code?

Thanks

No, you can not change anything yourself. You have to have Mike make the changes for you...

No, as we told you, you will still need to have new tunes done for *your* vehicle - you cannot just use tunes from any F-150, the XCal 2 is a custom tune device, and thus each vehicle requires it's own tunes.

This is why buying them used isn't such a good bargain, unless you get it basically free, as you have to pay to have the new tunes done.

If you have any further questions on this, please feel free to give us a call.
