The MAX micro tuners are good but the XCal2 with custom tunes will get the biggest increase in hp & torque, approximately 50% more than the MAX micro tuners, which use canned tunes, not custom

Just posted my experience. had a good mpg increase, and better throttle response. Lots of folks looking to upgrade to Troyers tuner so maybe pick up a used one and give it a try?

HI Jr WaxDr,

The standard Superchips "MAX" series MicroTuner will give you some improvement, no problem. So if you want something you can get immediately, that will work fine for you.

However, if you want the *best* results, then you would want us to do our Troyer Performance custom tuning - we gain significantly more raw power and much better performance gains due to the fact that we specialize in tuning these trucks, and have been for 15 years - far longer than anyone else, so that is why many people come to us for their F-150 performance needs.

If you'd like to get a feel for the difference, and just what we can do for *your* vehicle, please give us a call at our number listed below & we'll be happy to go over all of that with you, so you can make your decision from a fully informed position, OK?

Thanks for your post & good luck with your truck!
