Thanks...no issues monitoring while driving. Quick glance and you are there. I positioned the camera about where my head would be in the first pic...so that should be pretty close to the "driver's perspective".

I primarily want to monitor the tranny and since my gauge cluster has everything else, I only have 2 of the 18 or so vitals displaying...engine load on top and tranny on the bottom. Since Edge displays 2 items as a "bar graph" (very nice of them) so at a glance I can see how I am doing.

I would caution...if you need 4 vitals up and "got to" see them all the time...then maybe the pod holder that comes with the kit might be better. For me I like the clean look.

Got to love that Edge!

Considering you just bought the EDGE, you are SOL if you want the JLT. A custom tune is needed.

What? Why is that? It doesn't remove any emissions items? Why would it be illegal and other tuners are not?

Direct from Edge's manual:
Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway.

Well, I learn something new everyday. That was actually some interesting reading. I was born and raised in So. Cal. I miss living in San Diego but I sure dont miss some of these strange regulations. Thanks for info.

I've been running tuners in my cars/trucks in california for the past 5 years. Dont worry about it. When it comes time to smog the truck just take the edge out, get it smoged and the put the edge back in..
