ive found a great deal on a hypertech tuner. i believe it is the hypertech tuner 2. (somethin to that extent). it will be a while before i buy one but i was wondering what yalls opinions are.

 

Most everybody around here uses either XCal2 or Edge; there’s a few Hypertech’s around though

Let me tell you from first hand expirence......DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Put a little more money with it and buy a superchip or x-cal2. I started with the edge, till it tried to leave me stranded in the Arizona high mountians (re-loaded the factory tune to get home). Sold it as Edge folks had no customer service AT-ALL! Then went to the Hypertech......Didnt recognize the computer code on my 06.......fought toothe and nail to get hypertech to re-program it so I could use it then 2 weeks later when I finally got it installed you couldnt tell any difference over stock except for the firmness of the tranny. If thats what your after......get a shift kit and save the computer the trouble. I sold it cheap.....on ebay (lots of em to be had cheap...thats why)
Anxiously waiting for my x-cal 2 now.......had I asked this same question a year ago and had gotten this info I could have saved myself alot of trouble! As for my remark on the superchip.....had one on my 02 and it worked flawlessly and did make a nice power difference.
