Hey All, anyone have this unit. Looks very cool and compact. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

I'll get it just as soon as it's able to monitor transmission temp. I sent them an email last month, and they said it's currenlty not able to do so...

I have the old one that I use in my work truck. Same here, I wish I had the trans temp like the EDGE on my supercrew. The sensor is there already, must be a programing requirement, or the average vehicle does not monitor trans temp, so Scanguage doesn't want to take the time to fix it.

I must admit the package is better in the II. Mine is ugly.

But I like the trip computer as my XL work truck is pretty bare bones.

I have the ScanGuage II installed in my truck. I've been using it primarily to monitor speed (my speedo is off vs gps) and gas mileage. It's actually taught me how to drive this truck for better mileage. I need to check to see if they have added the functionality to allow you to connect the unit via a USB cable and download data.

I've also used it as a code reader on the wife's truck.

It's pretty compact, so I have mine velcro'd right in my line of sight (just in front of the gear indicator). I can snap a pic if it helps.

I kinda like that thing, might have to check that out. A lot cheaper than all new aftermarket gauges. Probably not quite as accurate though, still the stock senders too...
