Calling all Edge boys (and gals)

What settings are you using on the custom tunes? Today I bumped mine up to:
Shift firmness 1 - 2: 15
2 - 3: 12
3 - 4: 10
WOT %: 150
1-2 Shift WOT 4850
2 - 3: 4825
3 - 4 4800
Timing: +2

And a few others...what are you guys running? I think I have my shift points set too high, cause I gunned it today, and the 1-2 shift hung up to about 5200-5300 rpm when I let off the gas because I was scared...

Ok, so I'm not too crazy running my shift firmness at 15 and my shift point at 4850. I think it shifted so high because I was going down a bit of a hill. I'm liking it though

Last weekend i had some fun with mine and set shift firmness at 25 and shift a 5200 on level 3, truck runs like a bat out of hell, but it gets hard to drive on a wet road when it bangs a gear the tires break free

Silverfish,
I copied your settings and the truck doesnt like them....I dont know if its the torque converter or what but just crusing at a steady speed it upshifts and downshifts constantly...Now i gotta figure out what setting will fix this..Shutting off the OD button is not an option

At what speed is it happening at? If I had to guess it would be in the 35-45 mph, right? Change your STD Shift for 3-4 back to 0 and see if that helps . I drive in a lot of 45mph zones and on the highway.

I'd just like to tell everyone that anything over 4700 rpms for the 3-4 shift is really pushing it. .

I set it that high because lots of times when I gun it on the highway and it his 4000 rpms, it would start to go into OD, even with my foot still firmly planted on the floor. And Silver, it sounds like I need to lower my 3-4 shift back down, I'm having the same problem going 40 - 45

I tried STD shift 3-4 back to 0 and it didnt help..I loaded the standard level 3 tune and it does the same thing..My speed was right about 50mph and RPM 1200-1400. I also set 3-4 to 4700 like Thumper said...I just went back to level 2 and bumped the timing +2

What version are you running? I had the same issue untill I loaded the Beta versions, I don't remember the number.....20 maybe? Anyway it is the latest update (listed as a Beta version). I have had it loaded for the last couple of months and I have not had any issues and I don't have to lock out the OD when I am in the 45mph zones anymore.

I would also agree with ThumperMX113 as to the 3-4 shift rpm. I also have mine set to 4700rpm.

The 3-4 shift setting is only for WOT. FYI: By the time 3-4 shift happpens at WOT you will be well over 100 mph (I will never hit it). The thing that will hurt is going WOT when you are already in 4th and it down-shifts hard, always turn OD off before you go WOT from 4th gear. Edge default on level 3 for 3-4 shift is 5000 rmp. I am running both the beta's for firmware and calibration by the way.
