The Edge and State Inspections

I have a state inspection coming up where they check emissions. I will probably get it done at the dealer when they do the oil change. Has anyone gotten an inspection without returning to stock before taking it in? I was planning on returning to stock but have been advised in another thread that I really don't need to. Just curious what others are doing.

I would do it just cause it doesnt take long to switch back and forth. If I ever had to take mine to dealer I would go back to stock. Glad we dont have inspections down here

If you do reset back to stock be sure you do it soon enough to allow enough drive cycles for all the monitors and tests to complete so you don't get failed by the P1000 Not Ready code.

I had posted it in the other thread, but I passed Texas state inspection in Denton County w/ the SuperChips 1714 installed. If it'll pass with the SuperChips I dont know why it wouldn't w/ the EDGE. Worst case scenario is if you fail, you have 10 days to reprogram it back to stock and have it retested. There's no additional fee for the retest if you have it done within the 10 days.

Yes, I drive about 60 miles a day. Was going to do the reset about 5 days before. That should do it shouldn't it?
