Nice smackdown. Amazing how horsepower and racing can turn men into boys again.

I am 37 and my best friend just leased a Ram Big Horn 4 door with the Hemi. I have a 2004 FX-4 SuperCrew with 75,000 miles on it and I cannot wait to get the tunes from Mike cause I want to dust his Dodge preaching butt. He is all about horsepower and aceleration. Me, I like the fact that my truck has not been to the dealer but once for the rear diff fluid additive in the 75,000 miles I have owned it.

Oh don't fret, there is no way in hell I am ever going to give up the fact that I am going to be running a Troyer Stage II kit once I get the tunes. He will notice the exhaust but unless I pop the hood he will never know about the AF 3.25, electric fans and underdrive pulleys. As for the Xcal2, that he will never find out about.

Let's get it on.

Hi.

Nice - he'll know if he sees that TP sticker on your rear window

Unclebuck - congrats on roasting that semi-hemi weenie

Cheers

No, I realize that. I drove a Dodge 1500 Hemi when I needed a rental car. Pretty darn quick for bone stock. Right up there with the Nissan Titans. It would be nice to see Ford pull some more performance from the 5.4s without us having to throw mega $$$ at it.

Ah yes, the dilemma of the sticker, do you put it on and tell the world....well maybe after I kick his butt. Actually one of the two stickers is going on the AF intake under the hood.

As for Ford building a motor for the f-150, they are resurrecting the BOSS name for the new motors. Crate motors from Ford Racing should be coming out next year at the latest and the new factory motor should be in the new 09 F-150 due out in 08. This should give us both a higher hp gas motor as well as a diesel for the new F-150.

The new BOSS motors program is the Huricanne program resurrected by Mark Fields after it was killed by both program costs and Huricanne Katrina. Finally somebody at Ford has realized that the Navigator, Lincoln pickup and the F-150 need more motor options to compete with GM's motors in the Caddys and pickups.

What mods are you running other than the Troyer tunes?

The only thing I have done is a high flow exaust and cold air intake.... The truck is a regular cab 6.5' bed.. lowered rear, slower dampning. I can't figure out how to add my signature to posts...all my truck info is supposed to pop up? Not much of a computer geek.

I gotta chirp in on this one.

I posted not too long ago about getting a Titan kill, and it was "BS!", "No Way!", and quite a few other responses. Maybe I posted in the wrong forum. Anyways NICE HEMI KILL.

I have got a couple Hemi Kills, one Titan kill and multiple Chevy kills.

Thanks Mike, your tunes rock. As for the Troyer decal, I have had another So Cal dude give me thumbs up as he turned right and I saw his. Nice. My truck looks completely stock cuz it is save for the Troyer Tune. Yep, it's a sleeper.

Yeah, Mickey, you need to go play with Corvettes, Camaros and Trans Am's. That's where that "Lighning" badge kills all your fun.

Ah, Mickey, there will *always* be punk teenagers that have Daddy's car and think they rule the world to smack down!
