I called edge performance this past week to inquire if the Evolution on level 2 performance would remove the 5000 RPM Rev limiter, I was told yes. Then I asked if the unit could be moved from truck to truck, I was told yes, as long as I took it back to level 1, you can then remove (unplug) the unit.

Here's my question, What happens if your on level two, and your truck is broken into, and the edge evolution is stolen????? Therefore it is now unplugged, and your still in level 2. What happens now when you start the truck?????? Will it default to level 1, I don't think so, do I have to go to ford to have the PCM reflashed??

 

If it is stolen then you are stuck on level 2. You have two options. One, you would have to buy another Edge and pay Edge to email you your stock program. Two, go to Ford and pay to reflash your pcm with stock code. Your truck can run what ever level you are at without the unit plugged in.
