Traded my F150 for a F250 this weekend...

Ok,

I have an XCal-II with Troyer Tunes on it for my old F150...
(only 2 months old)
Now that I have an F250 PSD....what are the tunes I can get from Mike?

Should I put an AF1 on the PSD??? is that the only mod I need?

Any advice for a newbie F250 PSD guy?

LoL... Is that the only mod you need??? That intake would do you fine, plus, either straight pipe it, or get a high flow muffler. As for the tunes, i am not sure what mike offers for diesels.

I understand Mike has great tunes for diesels and that the tunes produce about 100 additional rwhp on the diesel as compared to about 30 on a gasoline engine. Go to his website Troyer Performance and he has the diesel stuff shown there.

Funny, I talked with Neil today, he can sure spend a fellas money fast.

Mike can do some great stuff with PDS...with little other mods needed.

Have to get some other stuff done first...then tuner.

Thanks folks

Hi JP,

Hate to see your F-150 go, but congrats on your new SuperDuty PSD, that sure is a great replacement!

We have tunes that, as I'm sure Neil told you, will turn that PSD into an animal, adding 150 RWHP & 240 RWTQ at very safe EGT's in our performance tunes - and then of course we also offer towing tunes and fuel economy tunes for those 6.0 PSDs as well, and that is the most common combination by far.

Just give us a shout whenever you're ready to do it - one thing we do suggest is getting a pyrometer (EGT gauge) so that you know what the EGT's are - we handle all the gauges as well, and they're not difficult to install.

Have fun with your new toy!

Thanks a lot Mike...I sure did enjoy your tunes and yes i hated to part with my gal. I did speak with Neil...and I wil get my order in as soon as I absorb some of the extra costs I now have. I have already sold my AF1 but still need to sell my Wheels/Tires, and a few odds and ends.

Once that is done, I will be ready to go.

BTW, the Troyer Gold sticker is going to look super slick on the new Dark Copper color.

JP
