Did you update it before installing and programming?

What was your rpms before you let off. If I do wot it shifts aroud 5400 rpms I think or somewhere around there. I would also look into updating it also.

Level 2 does not change the shift RPM's from stock (only lvl 3 increases that).

If you did not update the unit first, you should have done that as said. Is your engine reaching the stock WOT rpm?

Also, you see many reports of the Edge having issues.... which they might - but also keep in mind that they are probably outselling all others combined 5 to 1.

Doubt it considering some of the models were just released to the public.

Update the unit. They fixed several issues in the later updates. One of them was hitting the rev limiter before shifting at WOT.

What he said.

Looks up the shift @ WOT points and let us know what its set at.
Also look up the rev lmiter and let us know.

This was a known issue starting off and like kd4rs said...it was fixed.

I will keep mine as well.... it is awesome!!!
With this many different customers with different expectations it is tough to satisfy everyone. With any mass produced product there will be ones that need "adjustment" which is what makes the Edge different (it can be done over the internet).

Any company will need time to understand what the issues are and make adjustments, as a reminder they are in business to STAY in business. They understand you want satisfaction and they will deliver as quickly as they can.

What I do know that is if you keep "harassing" them it won't encourage them to help you any sooner or give them incentive to make accomodations for you if they can.

Mine works excellent.. I did perform the updates as requied prior to installing. I actually read the book which is only a few pages went out installed it and for 2 months now no problems. I think its awesome for the price and the added function display is neat. They just keep dropping in price I paid 299.00 plus 15 s&h. I just saw them on another site for 279.95. How much is the Xcal2 tuner cost? BoB
