Edge Confusion/ Performance ?

I have had my edge for about 2 weeks now and really like the unit. When I installed it I went to level 2 and really felt a difference in the shifting but really could not tell any seat slamming performance.
Today I had my truck serviced so I reset to stock and removed the unit. I have traveled app.200 miles today and the truck doesn't feel any weaker without the Edge, am I expecting to much? This is not a negative Edge post I am just looking for what to expect and what to look for if I am not getting a good tune.
Should it be very noticeable or just the shifting and a little more pep?

Did you customize the level you were running or use the stock level 2 tune?

Stock level 2 was not too much better than my stock Ford program. Customized level 3 is a whole different story. i have not tried custom level 2 yet, as i am having too much fun with level 3.

Can you guys give me some idea as how you set your customized tune on level 3? Also if you set a custom tune and then remove the unit for service or go to a lesser level {ie} towing will the unit hold the custom tune or do you have to redo it.

Thanks,Gary

I have noticed a huge difference between stock and level 2. The reason you don't see a huge difference is because you just reset your computer. Everytime I set mine back to stock I thought to myself that I didn't feel much of a difference, but after a couple hundred miles it fades, bad...

hmfic, what do you mean it fades? Is this to say that when you first go to level 2 you can notice it but it goes away after several hundred miles?

Sorry, I mean that when you go back to stock (no edge) that the computer is blank after you reset the computer, and that it takes a few hundred miles to "learn" to your driving. Unless you always drive it hard, the performance will fade. With the edge, the performance will not fade.

The computer will store all the driving perameters. If you change something like aie intake or chip etc. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect and start the vehicle and let it idle for a few minutes. It will then read the new setting and make the adjustments. This will save you having to drive for miles to readjust the pcm.
