Predator versus Troyer Tuned

Has anyone used both? What are the pros and cons? I have the Pred and I just plug it in and update it. With Troyer, it sounds as though there is a bunch of extra costs and phone calls? Am I correct?

If not, please advise. I think I want to purchase Troyers tune, but can't be bothered with extra hassle (if there is any)...

I don't know about hassles.

You call and order it. You give them your computer code. They send the unit out with the tunes or worse case scenario send you a unit to read your strategy codes and then email you the tunes.

I don't view that as a hassle.

Yes, you are correct. There are extra phone calls and costs.
That's because TP offers Custom Tuning and the pred is a generic tune.
When you speak to TP, you get a consultation on your budget and how/where you intend to use your truck rather than a "one size fits" all approach from the competition.
Personally, I would go with a custom tune from Mike. TP probvided the tunes for my HD and it's faster than many running identical mods, even those that have been tuned on a dyno. I couldn't be happier with it. The only thing I would wish for is enough $$$ to take it to the next level.
It's up to you though to decide whether you want the extra expense and hassle of a custom tune.

IMO TP’s tunes are as hassle free as it gets; load your tune of choice and fugedaboudit; they’re da bomb
