Question newby xcal2 question

I have decided to purchase an xcal2 from Troyer after reading all of the positive commentary on this site. I want all of you to tell me how much I am gonna love it and why. Oh yeah and brag on it alittle too, I am curious how much better it is than the off the shelf programmers. Thanks!

If you already did your research about TP’s custom tunes, there’s not much more to say; they’re as good as proclaimed. I’ve had Mikes tuning on my 04 since 12-03-04 and it’s been all good, no problems whatsoever.

Most of us are just too tired to keep spouting off on how great the XCal II is!

It is nothing short of amazing of what it did to my truck, I know that you will definately happy with the purchase.

i got my xcal2 friday to search the factory strategy. i never knew you could do this.
Plus: you won't find anyone that cares more about how their product is going to work in your case. I am doing a 5.4 swap where a 4.6 was and they have been absolutely wonderful to deal with. now i am just waiting on my tunes to come in the mail.

The tunes are great but so are the people supporting them.

You won't be sorry.

Go ahead and pull the trigger, You will love what Mike can do for your truck and as Vader stated, support from Troyer and his staff is second to none.....

yes, we have raved and typed, typed and raved on the Troyer Custom Tuned XCal2.... now we leave it to the newer buyers to handle this.... but we still chime in when needed....

so, its going to be your duty to rave and type, type and rave....after you get over the shock of thinking someone put a different motor and transmission in your truck while you where sleeping....

As far as your question, Mikes tunes in general get better mileage, but it very hard to tell with the "Foot on the Floor Factor" and I may add, that I still have this problem...

As one of those newer buyers, I am "chiming in" :CHIME:

Mike Troyer and his team know their business ---> Tuning F-150's!

I have the XCal2 and Troyer's custom tunes and they actually do exactly what they are advertised to do: more RWHP and better throttle response.

Unfortunately I am a victim of the "Foot on the Floor" factor as well, but if I lay off it, I do get an MPG boost.

If you go with the XCal2 and Troyer Tunes you won't be sorry!
