Yesterday I hooked up to tow my boat and after I pulled out I noticed my edge wasn't displaying any readings, but the back light was light. I stopped turned off the truck and opened my door. I weighted until the back light display went blank and restarted the truck. All the readings appeared .
What was that all about?
I got a little nervous due to some of the horror stories about problems w/edge and some trucks becoming a large paper weight in the driveway.
Can someone explain what happened.
My truck has a factory tow package. My trailer has electric brakes.

 

The displays are susceptable to heat, may have been too hot, and then showed up after cooling a little.

 

Thanks, Now that you mentioned it I think I read something about that. hopefully that's all it was.
Funny thing is it's been about 10degs cooler this week. It was in the upper 80s when it happened.
