Thanks Z,

I wish I had the removable side panel on my truck like the new ones do.

Hi,

I just got the Edge for my F150 and have a lot of extra cable. I think you read that part of the manual incorrectly. You pull out the door seal so that you can slip the cable behind the dash. The cable does not go behind the seal. If you are trying to keep it behind the seal, I can see why it would be too short for you.

Thanks 2001Screw,

Oop's I forgot about this post. I was able to pull off the door seal trim and route the cable a little better behind the dash than I was doing it before.

Now, I have about 3-4 inches of cable which is enough for me to be able to unplug the unit without pulling off the pod.

Thanks again for pointing that out , I guess I was just in a hurry and didn't route the cable correctly.
