hypertech chip ?
hypertech chip ?
ok my brother in law wants to change the motor out of his 92 f150 he has a hypertech chip. he's going from a 302 to a 347 block for towing purposes. Is there anyone that still tunes these hypertech chips or does he have to bye another chip such as a superchip.note that this is also a jacked up 4 wheel drive truck
Hi svtdemon,
Hypertech has not been doing any true custom tuning as would be required that I know of for some years now - however, if you like, you can have him contact us at our number listed below & we''ll see if we can help him, if you like.
It would also be highly advantageous to convert to a mass air system as well, as chances are that truck is a speed-density system - just FYI.

Yeah troyer from what I have heard has the best tunes of ANYONE. After I repaint my 94 f250 (basically same truck with a 351 and leaf springs) I plan on having troyer tune mine. His tunes will be almost nesisary for that truck to run well. I plan on putting a good deal of money in my engine as far as tunes, gears, heads, and cams.
