Performance Chip Stacking?

I regularly hang out with my buddies in a parking lot. We talk about cars, rev our engines, and watch people go by. Well everyone is talking about the Dodge 1500 and this F-250 that, from what I have heard, the guys "stcked chips" in their trucks.

Now I have a Superchips tuner, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what "stacking" chips is all about? And where do I get these chips?

In my town the bragging rights for fastest truck and most horsepower is important, we tend to make fun of imports and "Fast and Furious" guys.

Thank you very much.

Chase

Hi Chase,

No,m you cannot "stack" tuners or ships like that - that is only possible in the diesels, and that is really done only when the tuning is not fully optimized - with properly optimized tuning, that is of no benefit even in the diesel world.

What will actually get you the best results for that truck is to go with our Troyer Performance custom tuning, as we have specialized in this platform for far longer than anyone else - we even get called in to help various chipmakers on this platform due to our expertise.

I hope this brief info helps, & please feel free to give us a call to go over this in further detail, we'll be happy to help!

He is talking about the SCT XCal2 customer tuner. Best you can buy. SCT stands for Superchips Custom Tuning. Call Troyer Performance for more details.

Hi.

No. This is that 'thang' ...

BTW - you might also want to consider losing the K&N and the Fartmaster - neither are helping in your quest for better performance ...

Pick up da phone.

You won’t go wrong with a TP custom tuned XCal2. IMO it’s the biggest bang for the buck mod there is. The tunes are made specifically for your truck and it will give you the biggest hp & torque gain that’s safely sustainable. It’s the way to go IMO

AF1 intake, Magnaflow exhaust and a TP custom tuned XCal2 is the optimal setup, but I’m sure your K&N & Flowmaster will do just fine

I put a flowmaster on my truck soon after I bought it. It took about a year before the baffles rusted out so I just got a Magnaflow welded in place of the Flowmaster. Troyer gave me the best deal on the Magnaflow and it cost $30 to get it installed at a muffler shop.
