I want to get the most gas mileage I can out of my 04 SCREW 5.4L and am wondering what other people are getting with there settings.

 

I normally run level 3 on mine with 1 degree of timeing added for 93 octane. If i keep my foot out of it I get 18 mpg mix in town and highway. Although I did orignaly get the edge for better mileage, now i just drive and try to enjoy.

Level 2 has worked best for me. 91 octane is .20 more here, so I just stick with level 2.

 

I've found level 2 to be better for me as it has more low end torque making it easier (less gas needed) for the stop and go traffic of the city. Plus the gas is cheaper.
Just keep your foot out of it....if you can.

 

Thanks guys, I have been using level two for about 2 weeks and really haven't seen to much in a mpg increase. I drive it the same as I did before. Is there any other setting on the EDGE that could increase it more. I have heard that the level 3 does get the best mpg. A guy told me it was worth the 20 cents more a gallon. Any other suggestion.
