Just wondering if anyone else has a DiabloSport Predator programmer for their 99-03 5.4L. If there is, how do you like it? Do you get a hard/abrupt/uncomfortable downshift from 4th to 3rd gear when coming to a stop after installing the "DiabloTune"? I figured it would go away after the PCM adapted its shift patterns after driving it for a while but it didn't. I haven't gotten the problem if I just install the "Factory HP Tune" even when manually changing the shift points, shift pressure, and torque modulation. Anyone have any input? The increase in power with DiabloTune is considerable, but I have restored everything to stock because it feels like the hard downshift is ripping my driveline apart.
