Quack, we all know you are upset. Maybe you didn't have the right expectations when you agreed to be a tester. Rob was very clear in stating that we could experience problems and that we needed to be ready for them.

There are two ways you can go from here. You can keep complaining and bashing Edge and the product, which helps no one, or you can get on board and start logging any problems or issues that you find and report them back to Rob like you agreed to do when you agreed to be a tester.

We are BETA TESTING a product. That means there WILL be problems. That also means the better job we do of absolutely thrashing on the units and using every possible function and feature, and logging the issues and reporting them, the better the finished product will be.

You got to remember, that we're working for him. Not him for us. He doesn't have to tell us anything. We're trading the full price, for a testing service. When you had a problem with the unit, you shouldn't have re-programmed it. You should have called him. But hindsight is 20-20, and I know your situation....... So it doesn't really matter what happened. If you're upset, call him and see if he can fix it for ya. If you're worried about it crippling your truck, or if you're not prepared to face the consequences if it breaks it, then you need to unplug it and leave it at home. If you continue to use it, keep an eye on the boards. We're all in this together, and if I have ANY problems, I'll come and post it here FIRST! Cause I hope that you guys would be so kind as to do the same for me!

Edge Products is a fairly large company, and a VERY buisy place, (from what I gather from several phone calls to different people at Edge). Rob is working on several projects at one time, so he's hardly ever at his desk. I'm sure that Rob's catching the heat from the man, cause these things were supposed to hit the market this month.

I hate to be left hanging too, but that's the way it is. If you need something, or have a problem, you need to call him. (And post it here for us!)

I am having problems similair to quackaddict. If the product was perfect it would already been on the market. I figured that there might be some problems when I signed on to be a beta tester. I am sure all the issues will be resolved, just not as quick as everyone would like them be.

Let me word this very carefully. I haven't bashed the product or Edge ONE time. Have said numerous times that I love the product so read my full post before YOU jump to conclusions. I am trying to help Rob because I have a lot of respect for EDGE and I didn't sign onto this deal for a rebate I actually want to help make the product right but I need all the info to do that.

Secondly the only complaint I have had is that when you are testing something and a problem arises you have to let people know. Read my post and you will see that is all I have said.

Testing is a flow of information to get a product right the flow has to go both ways or we can't acurately test the product now can we. How can I tell him how it works if it doesn't. Good news we found the glitch and it can be fixed.

Also I didn't report a problem to Rob because I didn't have one until yesterday.........a problem that could have been avoided.

I will not discuss this anymore my point is being missed because people are taking it the wrong way so bash away all you want.

To all other reading this post I appoligize if I seem to be critical but I am just doing my job as a tester by pointing out a problem. If this happens on a future test hopefully the problem will get fixed.

P.S. I will highly recommend this product once the tests are complete. They will obviously fix them before they release it. the guages are awsome and you can feel the added power.
