Too hot for my Edge....

This last week in Sacramento we've been having 100+ temps....Most times during the day I try and park in the sun or use my windshield shade......But if I don't, when I get in my truck to leave, my Edge is all blacked out and the pod is burning up.....Short of me remembering to cover my windshield at all times, does anyone have any suggestions of something to put either on the outside or inside of the pod to deflect heat???....

BTW...after the weather cools down a little the screen goes back to normal....but it can't be good for it....

It's just LCD screens. I've had pagers and cell phones do that before. You could try mounting it in a new location out of the sun, but other than that, it's what happens to LCD's in the heat.
