A little confused about my Edge...

Alright well I have had my Edge for a couple weeks now and I love it.. I have been running on Level 2 with 87 octane and I got the 0-60 in 8.5s. This tank I went with Premium gas and tuned it to Level 3. I did a 0-60 run and I got something like 10.?? secs... The only differences I saw was that I was on a full tank this time instead of half tank when I ran Level 2 times. And the temp today was about 80-90 and Level 2 temps were in the 70's....

I thought Level 3 was the performance tune???

Do your times again and go for an average. You may have rolled a bit and didn't realize it. It doesn't take much to start the timer on the EDGE.

But I have found that the outside temp will make a big difference in power with these trucks, even with the stock tune.

Level 3 is for 1/4 mile times and top end speed.

Level 2 is for low end 0 to 60 times.

I'm not surprised your times got slower on level 3, 0 to 60.

How is your ¼ mile time going to be better on level 3 if your 0 to 60 time is worse on level 3? That doesn’t make any sense

Good ¼ miles times are all about coming out of the hole. If you get a sluggish start, your ¼ mile time will suffer substantially

So is there any MPG benefit with running in Level 3 on premium gas. I have noticed almost 2 mpg better with Level 2 over stock...

I never checked my times for the tank of 91 i ran, but I did notice that the engine pulled harder above 3000 rpms.

When in level 2, it felt like engine pulled harder from the start, then dropped off.
