I have the Xcal 2 with custom tunes and have a question about switching between the 3 custom tunes. When I first recieved the tunner I hooked it up and select to load the 87 octane tune. I noticed that the tunner downloaded the stock program from my truck and then uploaded the new custom tune. I have since gone back and selected to load the 91 octane performance tune and the tunner has indicated that it is downloading and then says it is complete. I expected it to have to down load and then upload as it did with the initial stock to 87 procedure but there was no idication of uploading this time. Can anyone verify if this is normal or do I have a problem here?

It is perfectly normal. Once the stock tune is stored it takes half the time to switch between tunes because it has the stock tune in its memory now.
