Edge Evo in Off-road magazine

Did anyone else see the article in the offroad-road magazine?

They dyno'ed it and they are showing

Stock: 179.9HP@4413rpm / 248.9TQ@3607rpm

level2: 211HP@4997rpm / 264.7@3633rpm

Level3: 230.7HP@4539rpm / 302.6TQ@3563rpm

Thats a gain of 50.8HP and 53.7lb-ft

what do you guys think? i dont think there is anyway the edge evo gained my 50hp and 50lb-ft.

Hell, even level2 gained them 31.1HP and 15.8TQ over stock.. It doesnt feel like i gained 30HP running 87 on level2...

I think the problem is with the initial 179hp rating I know you lose alot of that advertised 300hp from the flywheel to the rear wheels, but come on now.

it was the 5.4L 3V motor. They did the dyno in Utah as well, somewhere around 5500ft above sea level..

I wish they would do one at sea level. I think it makes a big difference.

I think the stock 5.4 puts out like 220 RWHP so a gain of 10 cant be right?

I'll have to find that article and see if it says that the numbers are adjusted for altitude.

the article doent say anything at all about altitude.. im only guessing 5500ft because they said they did the dyno testing at EDGE PRODUCTS in Utah..

yea i wonder why their baseline is so low?

Oh well. So much for an unbiased test.
