Trying to update my Edge Evo. Ive been to the sight and clicked on the update but he page has expired! Am I doing somthing wrong? This will be the second time I've tried to update, the first was a nightmare. The instructions they send with the edge are about useless. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

 

Did you download all of the Lightnng software, etc before you tried to update? If you did, then you don't have to go to the Edge sight, you just open Lighting, connect the Evo and hit update. Make sure before you do though that you have put the truck back to stock, that way you don't lose your stock file if they do have a newer update than you have.

 

I just tried it and they must be doing maintainance on the server or something. I tried it from the lightning software and I got a message that the server was down.

Greetings all,
I recently purchased the edge and dnld all the software, etc.
I also had trouble with the check for updates and got the server was down.

I talked to one of the guys at edge and he said since I was on dialup I could not get it to work and if I had a friend with dsl, etc I should have no problem, he was right.... used a friends pc on Satilite..sp?.. and no problem. Kinda a bummer but being in the boonies has other advantages.
hope this helps those that may be on dialup like me.
