My little box-o-go-go II

I recieved the fine tune from mike to correct the baseline. After a couple days for the adaptive strategy to figure it all out, its really coming around. We leaned (or Mike did) it out a bit, though its still kicking rich banks 1 and 2 currently, and it has reduced the emittance of excess fuel from the exhaust totally.

But the bottom line is, even though its still a little rich by the computer, its amazingly quick. I am fortunate enough that in my industry, I drive some really nice, and really fast cars, so I have a good sense of judgement as to what that big bad boy can and will do. I have no reservations about running up against any F series, Chebby truck, ricers, or anything less than $50,000 luxury (lacking of course the little facotry turbo cars like the evolution, you just can fight that with all this wieght) I have a short list of various cars already under my belt, bmw 3 series, 05 F150, 06 Chevy 1500, 07 Tahoe, and even went head to head with an 05 Crown Vic Police interceptor (and yes, it had blue lights on the top, but thats another story)

So, in the end, if Mike was a woman, well you dont wanna know what I would do to him for thanks!

The GVW on the door tag is 7200. I figure, you add the 305/50-20's, the brush gaurd, rear seat, and misc random other crap it should be around 8000.

Hi 98Navi,

Hmm, that's odd that it would still be showing any rich codes - but maybe it's just one of those that needs more adjustment! We've only done the one adjustment so far, so as soon as you get me more complete datalogging info, I'll take another look at it and adjust it as needed, no problem.

I'm glad you're enjoying the tuning - we really have come full circle, haven't we? That's really what makes me the happiest!

Regarding the weight - those Navigators are indeed heavy, usually around 6000+ lbs pretty much empty. I don't think it would quite hit 8000 lb though, unless you were carrying a pretty good load - but it's still a heavy beast with the aero profile of a small house, so it takes significant power to make it move the way it does now!

Have fun,
