Thank you Troyer Performance

I installed AF1 and Xcal2 by Troyer this past Saturday...WOW. Thank you Mike and all your staff for awakening my truck. This is definitely the way this truck should perform. I hope to have dyno results asap and your final tweeking.

I finally saved up and ordered the AF1 since the postponement due to I had to pay in this year of taxes

I am almost salivating for the damn thing and it'll be about a week before I get it

Many thanks again to Troyer Performance!

98 Navi,

Getting mods does "whet" (sp?) the appetite for more of 'em. I used to have the AF1 AND Magnaflow SIDO on my old '97, so I know first hand the vast improvement it makes (and sounds!)

After the AF1, I'm gonna get SISO Magnaflow on my truck. My own "little box of go-go", as someone else I heard call their vehicle.

Question.

I'm about to order an xcalII, and I was just wondering. Does Mike custom tune your rides, or is it the same as if you just order one from TP? I was reading on the website, and it looks like I can just order one from TP. Please fill me in, I want the same kick everybody else has. I noticed on another thread that they will give you a discount if you are a member of this site. How much of a discount? I'm going to order one in the morning. Somebody please help me, I'm pulling out my hair. Thanks

The custom tuning is via the xcal2. He'll get your computer code and program you a baseline tune, then you dyno for data and send that to him for a tweak to finalize the tune. Call him, he'll set you straight

I answered in your other thread. Best thing to do is call Troyer Performance and get all your questions answered. They have top-notch customer service.

Hi Ray,

Thanks very much for your post!

It is amazing what proper tuning and getting the restriction out of the air intake tract will do for these heavy beasts, isn't it? I'm glad you're enjoying it!

For beowolf - as always, you are very welcome!

For bfnsprout - hey, everyone who first comes here has questions, don't worry about that - you need to know something, you ask, that's what we all hang out here for (as well as to enjoy each other's company, of course). As the other poster mentioned,k in that other thread both he and myself went over this, so if you will check that other thread where you posted the question about finding your code, you will see the responses (that is, if you haven't already seen them by now!).

Have fun all,
